PRESERVATIVE (Stain) Macksons
Wood Preservative is a bitumen based compound containing highly effective fungicide
and insecticidal agents, as well as antiseptic solutions. Product stains black and
prevents dampening of timber.
Field of Application :Suitable for all types of timber
where the retention of natural colour is not required. Ideal for roofs, rafters, beams,
ceiling structures etc.
TECHNICAL DATA
Viscosity : More than 60 seconds.
Specific gravity : 0.80 - 0.96
Toxicity : Toxic to humans
Colour : Black (both before and after
application)
Packing : 625ml, 2 Litres, 4 Litres and
10 Litres cans.
Method of use : Apply with brush or
immerse timber in a wood preservative stain bath for 2 hours.
Surface preparation : Please refer to our
separate detailed instructions on surface preparation and priming.
If product should come into contact with skin, clean off immediately with
mineral turpentine and thereafter wash thoroughly with soap and water. |
