Multilac Oil Primer
oil primer is an anticorrosive and rust preventive primer based on synthetic resin. It is
recommended to be used as the first coat on iron and steel to be followed by finishing
enamel coats to give durability to the surface applied.

Drying time:
Surface dry 1 hour. Hard dry 8 hours.
Thinner: Mineral
Turpentine
Covering capacity: 10
- 12 Sq.m/litre (depending on the surface)
Specific gravity:
Approximately 1.3
Solid content: 60
- 65 % by weight.
Method of Application:
by brush, Roller or spray.
Shade: Red oxide
Cleaning: Brushes
and other tools should be cleaned immediately after use with mineral turpentine.
Packing: 500ml, 1
Liter, 4 Litres tin cans and 200 Litres drums.
Storage: Store at
room temperature between 20° C - 40° C.
Directions for use:
Remove dirt, oil and rust before painting by washing down / scraping to ensure that the
surface is perfectly clean and dry.
