CHINESE LACQUER Multilac
Chinese Lacquer is an alkyd based lacquer with very good gloss and flexibility. It can be
used in both interior and exterior surfaces. It is easy to apply and levels well.
Field of Application: Multilac Chinese
lacquer can be used on all types of surface, like metal, wood, concrete etc. with
appropriate primers.
Main Use: Used for artistic works &
small touch ups where the requirements are minimum.

Drying time: Surface dry 2 hours Hard
dry 8 hours
Thinner: Multilac synthetic thinner or
Multilac mineral turpentine (do not over-thin)
Covering capacity: 15-16 Sq.m/Litre
(depending on the surface and film thickness)
Specific gravity: Approximately 1.30
Solid content: Approximately 55-60% by
weight
Method of application: Preferably by
brush, can also be sprayed.
Shades: Black, white, silver, blue,
green, yellow & red are the direct colours (special colours on request).
Cleaning: Brushes and other tools
should be cleaned immediately with turpentine
Packing: 50ml and 100ml tin cans. (12
tins packed in a box)
Storage: Store in cool and dry place.
Directions for use: To be stirred well
before use. Remove dirt, grease, oil and rust before painting and ensure that the surface
is perfectly clean and dry.
