Aluminium Paint
A high solid, synthetic resin-based leafing
aluminium paint with low viscosity and high brilliance having excellent covering
capability and a brilliant finish. Has high reflectivity of the sunrays. Therefore helps
to keep houses and new buildings cooler. Suitable for all metal surfaces and ideal where
brightness and cooling is required. It is formulated with chemical inert neutral resins
and other neutral ingredients to give long lasting brilliance.
Fields of Application :
It can be used both indoors and outdoors on iron, steel and other metals as a primer or
top coat. It can also be used for sealing against penetration.
TECHNICAL DATA
Drying time :
Surface dry 1 hour. Hard dry 8 hours
Thinner : 
mineral turpentine may be added if
required.
Covering capacity :
Approximately 16 - 18 Sq.m per litre.
Specific gravity :
Approximately 0.8 - 0.9
Solid contents :
30 % by weight
Method of Application :
Preferably by brush, Roller, spraying can also be employed.
Shade : Aluminium
Cleaning :
Brushes and other tools should be clean immediately with white spirit.
Packing : 200ml,
500ml, 1 and 4 Litres tin cans. and 200Litres drums.
Storage : Store
at room temperature between 20° C - 40° C.
Directions for use :
To be stirred well before use. Remove dirt, grease, oil and rust before painting and
ensure the surface is perfectly clean and dry. Do not apply on humid conditions. If the
surface is wet and moisture prevails the paint will not give a bright finish.
