Multilac Aluminium Wood
Primer
Aluminium Primer is recommended for new wood. It has excellent filling properties and
provides a good foundation for subsequent coats of undercoat / enamel etc. This product is
specially formulated to prevent penetration of top coat in to the cavities of the wooden
surfaces.
TECHNICAL DATA
Drying time:
Surface dry 2 - 3 hours. Hard dry overnight.
Thinner: Multilac
mineral turpentine may be added if required.
Covering capacity: 15
Sq. m/litre (depending on the surface.)
Specific gravity:
Approximately 1.2
Solid contents:
60 % by weight
Method of Application:
Preferably by brush or spray.
Shade: Aluminium
(dull)
Cleaning: Brushes
and other tools should be cleaned immediately with white spirit.
Packing: 200ml,
500ml, 1Litre and 4Litres tin cans and 200 Litres drums.
Storage: Store at
room temperature between 20° C - 40° C.
Directions for use:
Ensure that the new wood surface is free of moisture, dust, and loose particles. The
primer should be applied uniformly. Stir well before use. The primer should be allowed to
dry overnight and dry sanded before applying subsequent coats.
