Paint Industries is a subsidiary of the prestigious Macksons Group
of Companies, a highly respected member of the commercial community
in Sri Lanka, ever since its inception in the year,1968.Born into
this pedigree, Macksons Paint Industries is rooted in the traditions
of quality and excellence that has been the hallmark of success for
its parent company, and has taken giant strides in development in
the eighteen years of its existence.
Starting from the
humble beginnings of a trader in paints, the Company expanded their
business horizons by moving into the specialized area of paint
manufacture, with the acquisition of a fully equipped manufacturing
plant. From that point on, Macksons Paint Industries began a
meteoric rise in stature and is justifiably proud of the fact that
it is one of the Country's leading manufacturers' and marketers of
high quality paints and surface coatings that match the most
discerning of international standards.
The Company owes its
rapid rise to two factors.
Firstly, the Company
has never compromised on quality. Relying on the latest state - of -
the - art equipment, in the hands of a highly trained, skilled and
experienced staff of over 200 workers, the Company produces millions
of litres of quality paints annually from raw material sourced from
the United States and Europe to maintain its international
standards.
Secondly, the Company
resorts to pragmatic and far-seeing marketing policies, that takes
into account all the relevant demographic, geographic and economic
considerations, to produce and market a wide range of paints that
would appeal to all the strata of society. This attribute together
with its non - compromising stand on high quality, has contributed
to Macksons Paint Industries becoming the largest exporter of paints
in Sri Lanka.
This two pronged
business strategy of Macksons Paint Industries has brought rich
dividends to the Company and augurs well for its future plans.
Marketing a range of
decorative finishes, consisting of water based Sheen and Matt
emulsions, Weather Guard, Gloss enamel, Ceiling White, Floor and
Bathroom paints, Acrylic Wall Filler, Bright Aluminium and Ecolac
Enamel, together with Wood Finishes and Preservatives, Industrial
Finishes, Primers and Undercoats and Automotive Finishes and Fillers
etc., makes Macksons Paint Industries one of the most prolific
industries in the country.
Strong in the
conviction of well established markets in China, Australia and
Myanmar, Macksons Paint Industries is venturing aggressively into
other international arenas, confident in the high quality standards
of its products and the economy of its competitive pricing, due to
