As a part of its CSR initiative, the company opened a Vocational Training Center to upgrade living standards of the community. Seven girls, selected from the village of (Sarikkamulla) were sent to the Muslim Ladies Study Circle to participate in a one-year teachers training programme in dressmaking, embroidery, cooking, computer training, interior decor, curtain making and beauty culture.
Six of these selected trainees are now employed by the Vocational Training Center as teachers.
